Refund / Exchange Policy
All sales are final.
Because our products and services involve engine-specific ECU tuning, custom compatibility review, and calibration-related work, Florida Marine Tuning does not offer refunds for completed orders or completed tuning services.
However, if a customer selects the wrong tune, we will allow the order to be changed to the correct product before flashing is performed.
If we review the ECU and determine that the selected tune is not the correct match, we will contact the customer before proceeding and give them the option to switch to the correct product.
Exchanges for incorrect tune selection
If the correct product is a higher-priced tune, the customer must pay the price difference before service is performed.
If the correct product is a lower-priced tune, Florida Marine Tuning will refund the difference to the customer’s original form of payment.
This exchange option applies only before tuning or flashing work begins.
Shipping responsibilities
Customers are responsible for shipping their ECU to Florida Marine Tuning.
If a customer orders the wrong tune and no compatible tune exists or they refuse an available match, Florida Marine Tuning will not refund the customer’s shipping costs, including:
- shipping the ECU to us
- return shipping already incurred
- any additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect order
Compatibility review
If a customer is unsure about compatibility, they may still place an order. We review ECU compatibility before flashing, and if there is an issue, we will contact the customer before any tuning work is performed.
This policy is intended to give customers confidence when ordering, even if they are uncertain about the exact tune or ECU compatibility.
No refunds after service begins
Once flashing, calibration work, or any related service has started, the order becomes final and is no longer eligible for exchange or refund.
No refunds for
Refunds will not be provided for:
- completed tuning or flashing services
- incorrect orders after service has started
- customer changes of mind after purchase
- shipping costs
- installation or removal labor
- delays or losses caused by shipping carriers
- performance differences caused by hull, propeller, load, fuel quality, operating conditions, or unrelated mechanical issues
